<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n \ud83d\udd25\ud83d\udd25\ud83d\udd25Another Auction Done Right\ud83d\udd25\ud83d\udd25\ud83d\udd25<\/span><\/p>\n Clonteens Dispersal – 300 pedigree registered animals met with strong demand. <\/span><\/p>\n Congratulations<\/span> to Jerome & Jenny O\u2019 Sullivan and the team at Clonteens Holsteins on a headline success dispersal auction. <\/span><\/p>\n 310 animals were catalogued with 305 going under the hammer, with 1st & 2nd calvers averaging \u20ac2,050 ( including incalf & open). The remainder of the cows (from 3rd – 12th calvers including incalf & open) averaged \u20ac1,400, Incalf heifers averaged \u20ac2,120 and weanlings averaging \u20ac813. There was a 91% clearance with most of the unsold animals being animals that had injuries etc. <\/span><\/p>\n With the constraints of a working yard where the ring had to be erected in the morning and removed post auction to allow for evening feeding\/milking. The logistics of this auction were a challenge but I\u2019m incredibly proud of the result. <\/span><\/p>\n The sale was a true reflection of the animals on offer.
