Her dam Lot 27 Foherish Rubicon Aira VG87 sold for €3,500 to the Laurlemore Herd.
Lot 9 Foherish G Cairnbrae Sold for €2,200
There was an 87% clearance on the day with all unsold animals being retained on the farm for the new operator. 4 animals sold to the UK. We had 20% of all animals sold online.
I would like to thank Paul Murphy and his team Brendan Greenan and Christy McCarthy for preparing the animals. I would like to thank all Jerome’s neighbours and friends for helping make the sale run smoothly. I would like to thank Micheal & Breda for all their hospitality. Congratulations to all those the donors and purchasers for the “Driving On For Cathy” Charity Auction, which was held on the 29th of December 2020.
Over €18,000 was raised tonight on the Driving on for Cathy Auction.
The auction consisted of 45 lots, with people pre-bidding and actively bidding online form their own living rooms during the live close.
The auction was all run through our state of the art software, which allow for live simulcast online auctions, which pushes the buyers on the spend just a little more and every bit helps in these unprecedented times.
All money raised will go to the Irish Cancer Society, Galway Hospice and Mayo/Roscommon Hospice.

Congratulations to everyone involved in setting breaking records on Saturday, October 24th, 2020 Clonagh Lucky Explorer who set a new Irish Simmental Society breed record and in fact an Irish record for any breed when selling for €52,000 to join the Pope’s Herd of the Wood family near Preston in the UK. The bull was sold by Garrett Behan, Ballyfin, Portlaoise, Co Laois. It was a privilege to be the auctioneer for such a special occasion.
